Made-to-measure shutters for every window and room
The freestanding white bath and light-coloured walls are framed by striking black shutters in RAL 9005. The design combines 89 mm louvres, ClearView and concealed hinges with a panel configuration that keeps both windows independently usable.

Black as a considered bathroom accent
The dark shutters complement the taps and other black details. The strong contrast makes the windows part of the design rather than a neutral backdrop.
Privacy without losing all the daylight
The louvres can be tilted to limit direct views while still allowing daylight in from above and between the louvres.
89 mm louvres keep the overall look spacious
The wide louvres create fewer horizontal lines and suit the scale of the windows. When open, they still provide a generous view through.
Material and positioning assessed for each bathroom
Not every bathroom has the same level of moisture exposure. The distance from the bath and shower, ventilation, condensation and cleaning requirements are considered during the consultation before the final design is confirmed.
Access to the window and taps
The panels must not obstruct the window, taps or walking space around the bath. That is why the opening direction and panel dimensions were checked before production.
Everyday use in a humid room
After installation in Essen, the closing function, louvre position and access around the bath or window are checked. Good ventilation remains important. The shutters can be dusted regularly and, where necessary, cleaned with a slightly damp cloth, without using harsh cleaning products.

Frequently asked questions
Are black shutters suitable for a bathroom?
That depends on the material, ventilation and position in relation to the bath or shower. DeVo always assesses the moisture exposure on site.
Will a bathroom be completely darkened?
No. Shutters significantly reduce the light, but narrow lines of light may remain visible along the louvres and around the edges.
Why was ClearView chosen?
ClearView keeps the front looking clean and avoids an additional visible control bar in the black surface.
