Maintenance

Minimal effort, beautiful for years

Regularly dust the louvres with a soft cloth or feather duster. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaning products. Aluminium and Hydro are particularly easy to maintain.

Maintenance, adjustment and five-year warranty

Good maintenance starts with choosing the right material for the space and using your shutters gently every day. If anything is not as it should be, DeVo will provide targeted assistance.

Easy maintenance yourself

Regularly dust the louvres and stiles with a soft cloth or feather duster. With wood and natural oak, use as little moisture as possible. Hydro and Aluminium can be cleaned with a slightly damp cloth and mild detergent. Always dry afterwards and avoid steam, abrasive cleaners and aggressive degreasers.

When should you request service?

Contact us if a panel does not close smoothly, the louvres move unevenly, a hinge becomes loose or a track system starts to feel stiff. Do not force any components or attempt to dismantle concealed controls yourself. A photograph and brief description will help us assess your service request more quickly.

Warranty and expectations

DeVo Shutters offers a five-year warranty in accordance with the arrangements set out in the quotation and order confirmation. Normal material variation in wood, incorrect use and damage caused by structural movement do not automatically constitute a product defect. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
