A window is rarely exactly the same width, height or square at every point. That is why we take more than one measurement and consider how the shutters will be used every day.
We measure the width, height, diagonals and depth, as well as any differences between the top, middle and bottom. We also check window handles, tilt-and-turn operation, trickle vents, window sills, wall finishes and the clearance needed to open the panels.
The panel configuration is aligned with the window-frame lines and the way the window will be used. We discuss the collection, colour, louvre size, standard operation, ClearView or Ultra ClearView, side stile, mid-rails, rails and special shapes. For round or angled windows, additional reference points are recorded.
After the appointment, you will receive a project-specific quotation detailing the measurements, specification, options, VAT, installation and expected lead time.
