Real DeVo projects
See our electric shutters in motion
Both videos show completed DeVo installations. The motor is integrated into the shutter and the louvres can be operated remotely. The videos only load when you play them.
Electric made-to-measure shutters by DeVo
No separate motor mounted at the back: the technology is part of the shutter
DeVo electric shutters are designed and manufactured as an electric system. This creates a much calmer result than a separate motor fitted to the back of a shutter afterwards.
No separate surface-mounted motor at the back.
Under normal use; battery life varies depending on how frequently the shutters are operated.
Direct and easy to operate, even with high windows.
Operate your shutters from your phone.
Comparison
DeVo electric shutters at a glance
How we work
How an electric shutter is designed
Technical survey
We assess the window shape, accessibility, panel configuration and the desired electric operation.
Designing in the motorisation
The motor, battery and controls are specified as part of the shutter construction.
Made-to-measure production
The shutters are newly manufactured for the chosen electric configuration.
Installation and setup
After installation, we check the operation, grouping and controls using the remote control and app.
Personal made-to-measure advice
Would you like us to assess electric shutters for your windows?
Send us photos of the windows or book a free measuring service. We will immediately assess whether electric made-to-measure shutters are technically a suitable solution.
DeVo electric shutters are designed as one integrated system from the production stage onwards. The motor is built into the shutter construction, so there is no separate surface-mounted motor visible at the back. They can be operated by remote control or via the app; under normal use, the battery lasts approximately six months.
Motor integrated into the shutter
The motorisation is incorporated directly into the new shutter construction. This keeps the window view calm and avoids a separate motor unit mounted at the back of the panel. The motor, panel construction and accessibility are assessed as one technical whole before production.
Remote control and app
The louvres can be operated conveniently without having to go over to the window. You can operate the electric shutters with a remote control or via an app. For multiple shutters, we agree in advance which sections should respond together or separately.
Battery life of approximately six months
Under normal use, the battery lasts approximately six months before it needs recharging. Actual battery life depends, among other things, on how often the shutters are operated and on the chosen panel and louvre configuration.
Ideal for high and hard-to-reach windows
Roof shutters, large areas of glazing and other hard-to-reach windows become much more practical when the louvres can be operated remotely. This gives you control over light and privacy without a ladder or manual extension control.
Existing shutters cannot be converted
The motor is part of the construction and must be integrated during the design and production stages. Existing shutters therefore cannot be converted to electric operation afterwards. Electric operation requires a new shutter solution designed for this purpose.
Real projects on video
The two videos on this page show electric DeVo shutters in real-life situations: white roof shutters and a large black shutter installation. This lets you see the technology in motion rather than only in a product photo.

Frequently asked questions
Where is the motor located in electric DeVo shutters?
The motor is integrated into the shutter construction. No separate surface-mounted motor is fitted to the back of the shutter panel.
How long does the battery in electric shutters last?
Under normal use, the battery lasts approximately six months before it needs recharging. Actual battery life may vary depending on how often the shutters are operated and the panel construction.
How do I operate electric shutters?
Electric shutters can be operated with a remote control or via an app. The desired controls and grouping of the shutters are agreed during the consultation.
Can existing shutters be converted to electric operation afterwards?
No. The motorisation is part of the shutter construction and must be incorporated from the design and production stages onwards. Existing shutters therefore cannot be converted afterwards to this electric version.
When are electric shutters particularly useful?
Electric operation is particularly practical for high windows, roof shutters, large areas of glazing and other places where manual operation is difficult to reach.
Is the same solution suitable for every window or room?
No. Electric made-to-measure shutters with an integrated motor, approximately six months’ battery life and operation via remote control or app. Window type, dimensions, installation position, material load and daily use are assessed for each situation.
What does DeVo check during the professional site survey?
We take measurements at multiple points and check the frame, reveal, handles, opening direction, windowsill, available panel clearance, and the desired louvre and panel configuration, among other details.
