Made-to-measure shutters for a sloping surface
A roof shutter is subject to different forces from a vertical shutter. The angle, frame, fixings and louvres must remain stable as one system. The construction was therefore specifically designed for this upper structure.
Electric operation because manual control is difficult to reach
The shutters are positioned high above the living area. Electric operation means the louvres do not have to be reached with a ladder or long operating rod. This keeps light control genuinely practical.
89 mm louvres above a large glazed section
The wide louvres complement the scale of the glazed wall and keep the upper structure visually calm. When open, they allow plenty of light in; tilting them provides more precise control over direct sunlight.
RAL 9004 to match the black window profiles
The black finish matches the window frames, making the roof shutters part of the same architectural line. The vertical columns and sloping panels remain clearly defined while forming one coherent whole.
Technical preparation and installation
Before production, the fixing points, accessibility and electrical preparation were checked. After installation, the movement was tested and it was documented how the shutters remain accessible for inspection and service.
Testing the operation and completing the installation
After installation in Kapellen, the louvres, drive system and selected control are tested together. The end positions and movement are checked, and the user receives guidance on normal operation, accessibility and what to do if a component needs to be readjusted.
